..NO SVR TSTM AREAS FORECAST...

..CNTRL GRT BASIN...
00Z FGZ SOUNDING...GROUND BASED AND BLENDED SATL PWAT ANALYSIS
DEPICT A NARROW RIBBON OF PWAT AOA 0.75 INCH STREAMING NEWD FROM AZ
INTO SERN UT AND WRN CO AHEAD OF THE TROUGH MOVING INTO THE GRT
BASIN REGION. DARKENING IN WATER VAPOR IMAGERY OVER SRN NV IS
LIKELY INDICATIVE OF THE STRONG MID-UPR LVL JET AXIS CENTERED OVER
THE REGION. BANDS OF TSTMS/CONVECTION HAVE READILY FORMED IN THIS
HIGHLY SHEARED ENVIRONMENT...BUT UPDRAFTS ARE HAVING A TOUGH TIME
BECOMING SUSTAINED OWING TO ANEMIC THERMAL BUOYANCY.
NONETHELESS...BACKGROUND WSWLY FLOW WAS QUITE STRONG AND ANY
CONVECTIVE ELEMENTS MAY MIX HIGHER MOMENTUM TO THE GROUND THIS
EVENING GIVING GUSTY WINDS. BUT...PROSPECTS FOR SVR WEATHER APPEAR
LIMITED...ESPECIALLY NOW THAT DIURNAL COOLING HAS COMMENCED.
