A LOW END EF3 TORNADO HIT NORTHWEST GILES COUNTY NEAR
LIBERTY HILL. THE PATH LENGTH OF THE TORNADO WAS 4.8
MILES, WITH A PATH WIDTH OF 100 YARDS. NUMEROUS TREES
WERE SNAPPED AND UPROOTED, MANY HOMES HAD ROOF DAMAGE.
ONE RESIDENTIAL HOME WAS COMPLETELY LEVELED. MAJOR DAMAGE
OCCURRED TO THE BACK OF THE LIBERTY HILL BAPTIST CHURCH.
THE TORNADO HIT FROM 1220 PM TO 1224 PM CDT.

DETERMINED TO BE STRAIGHT LINE WINDS WITH MAXIMUM SPEED
AROUND 90 MPH.
