5 HOMES STRUCK BY LIGHTNING IN WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, AND A
SHED HIT BY LIGHTNING IN FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP WITH SEVERAL
FIRES AS A RESULT. A HOME ON JACQUELINE PLACE HAD ITS
CHIMNEY STRUCK BY LIGHTNING CAUSING SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE.
WIRES WERE ALSO DOWNED BY LIGHTNING CAUSING TRAFFIC LIGHT
OUTAGES, ESPECIALLY ON THE BLUEHORSE PIKE. NUMEROUS BRUSH
FIRES WERE SPARKED BY THE LIGHTNING.
