A CLOSED MID LEVEL LOW OVER MI THIS MORNING WILL DRIFT SEWD TO OH BY
TONIGHT. AN ACCOMPANYING COLD FRONT WILL ALSO MOVE SEWD ACROSS THE
MIDDLE AND SE ATLANTIC COASTAL PLAIN TODAY...AND OFFSHORE TONIGHT.
WEAK CYCLOGENESIS IS ANTICIPATED THIS AFTERNOON/EVENING OVER THE
DELMARVA IN ADVANCE OF THE MID LEVEL LOW...AND THE WEAK SURFACE LOW
SHOULD DEVELOP EWD TO JUST OFF THE DE/NJ COAST OVERNIGHT. IN THE
WAKE OF CLOUD DEBRIS WITH OVERNIGHT CONVECTION...ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY TONIGHT
ALONG THE FRONT.

..ROCKIES AREA TODAY INTO TONIGHT...
AN UPSTREAM SHORTWAVE TROUGH OVER NRN CA WILL EJECT NEWD TOWARD MT
AND LOSE AMPLITUDE AS IT ENCOUNTERS THE MEAN RIDGE AXIS. VERY STEEP
MID LEVEL LAPSE RATES AND ASCENT FOCUSED IMMEDIATELY DOWNSTREAM FROM
THIS WAVE MAY SUPPORT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT ACROSS
CENTRAL MT THIS EVENING. A SEPARATE SRN STREAM TROUGH WILL ALSO
MOVE NEWD OVER THE FOUR CORNERS AND BECOME DIFFUSE BY TONIGHT.
WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE SRN ROCKIES
AND ADJACENT SRN HIGH PLAINS WITHIN A LOW-MID LEVEL MOISTURE PLUME
DOWNSTREAM FROM THE FOUR CORNERS WAVE.
