A POSITIVELY-TILTED UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH CENTERED OVER CA WILL DIG
SEWD AS SWLY FLOW ALOFT REMAINS IN PLACE ACROSS THE SRN STATES
TONIGHT. A LOW-LEVEL JET WILL ORGANIZE ACROSS SOUTH TX AND MOISTURE
WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE ALONG THE TX COAST. AS WARM ADVECTION
DEVELOPS ACROSS SOUTH AND CNTRL TX...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE MAINLY AFTER 06Z. FORECAST SOUNDINGS SHOW INSTABILITY
PRIMARILY ABOVE 700 MB AND THIS WILL KEEP THE STORMS ELEVATED.
HOWEVER...INSTABILITY IS NOT FORECAST TO BE STRONG ENOUGH FOR SEVERE
CONVECTION. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE CONUS...THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT
EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON OR TONIGHT.
