SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 INCH POSSIBLY 2 INCHES PER HOUR ACROSS THIS AREA
DURING AFTERNOON WITH EARLY THANKSGIVING STORM SYSTEM.
VERY STRONG MOIST ASCENT ABOVE COLD FRONTAL BOUNDARY AIDED BY A
COMBINATION OF RIGHT ENTRANCE REGION OF ONE JET COUPLED WITH LEFT
EXIT REGION OF JET NOSING INTO SRN IA IS EXPECTED DURING THE
AFTERNOON HOURS. THIS ALSO WILL PRODUCE VERY FAVORABLE LIFT IN
DENDRITE GROWTH REGION...FAVORING BURSTS OF HEAVIER SNOW OF 1 TO
POSSIBLY 2 INCHES PER HOUR.
EVEN THOUGH THIS AREA IS NORTH OF THE SURFACE LOW AND THE 10 PERCENT
THUNDER LINE...ELEVATED INSTABILITY WITH 50 TO 100 J/KG MAY SUPPORT
CONVECTIVE SNOW SHOWERS THEREFORE...CANNOT RULE OUT ONE OR TWO CG OR
IC LIGHTNING FLASHES WITH HEAVIER BURSTS.
AS UPPER SUPPORT PULLS AWARE FROM AREA EXPECT ANY WINTER MIX TO
RAPIDLY END FROM WEST TO EAST AROUND 00 UTC.
