ZONAL FLOW RETURNS TO THE CNTRL AND ERN US FRIDAY. EVEN THOUGH
INSTABILITY WILL REMAIN VERY WEAK ALONG THE TX AND LA
COASTS...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE FRIDAY AFTERNOON
AND EVENING AS LOW-LEVEL FLOW INCREASES IN RESPONSE TO A DEVELOPING
LOW-LEVEL JET IN THE SRN PLAINS. ELSEWHERE...THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY
WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE ALONG THE COAST OF CA DUE TO STRONG
LARGE-SCALE ASCENT AND COLD AIR ALOFT ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER-LOW
OFF THE COAST OF CA. NO AREAS WITH ORGANIZED CONVECTION ARE EXPECTED
ACROSS THE CONUS DURING THE DAY 2 PERIOD.
