SHIFT/OUTFLOW SURGING SOUTHWARD JUST AHEAD OF THE FRONT...ORGANIZED
SEVERE POTENTIAL THE REMAINDER OF THE AFTERNOON APPEARS LIMITED. ANY
THREAT FOR ISOLATED SEVERE HAIL/WIND GUSTS OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL
HOURS WILL WANE BY SUNSET AS THE COLD FRONT CLEARS THE
SOUTH/SOUTHEAST TX COAST.

BROAD AREA OF ISOLATED/MARGINAL SEVERE THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL WILL

MODERATELY UNSTABLE PRE-COLD FRONTAL AIRMASS. WEAK MID LEVEL LAPSE
RATES AND MODEST VERTICAL SHEAR OF 25-30 KT SHOULD TEMPER OVERALL
STORM ORGANIZATION/CONVECTIVE VIGOR THE REMAINDER OF THE AFTERNOON.
LARGELY ENHANCED BY THE DIURNAL HEATING CYCLE...ISOLATED STRONG WIND
GUST/HAIL THREATS SHOULD DIMINISH IN MOST LOCALES BY AROUND SUNSET.
