MILES OFF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST COAST. WELL EAST OF THIS LOW...THE
00Z OBSERVED RAOB FROM MEDFORD ORE REFLECTS STEEP LAPSE RATES AND
AROUND 275 J/KG OF MUCAPE. HOWEVER...ANY ADDITIONAL LIGHTNING
STRIKES INLAND SHOULD BE REMOTE GIVEN WEAK BUOYANCY AND A COOLING
BOUNDARY LAYER...WITH ALL CURRENT LIGHTNING WELL OFFSHORE IN THE
EASTERN PACIFIC.
