MUCH OF WRN U.S. CHARACTERIZED BY COLD/STEEP LAPSE RATES BUT ONLY
WEAK INSTABILITY DUE TO LACK OF PRECIPITABLE WATER IN ADVANCE OF
COLD FRONT. FRONTAL ZONE CURRENTLY MOVING EWD ACROSS SRN ID INTO
CENTRAL NV WILL REACH WRN WY TO WRN UT THIS EVENING. WITH
PRE-FRONTAL AIR MASS SO DRY...ANY THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY SHOULD
PRIMARILY BE ASSOCIATED WITH FRONTAL ZONE. SHOWERS AND A FEW WEAK
THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO DEVELOP WITH HEATING CENTRAL PAC COAST
INLAND TO THE SIERRAS UNDER THE COLD TROUGH. SMALL HAIL WILL BE
LIKELY GIVEN THE COLD AIR MASS BUT SEVERE NOT EXPECTED.
