AN UPPER-LEVEL RIDGE OVER THE GREAT PLAINS IS FORECAST TO MOVE EWD
INTO THE MS VALLEY WEDNESDAY AS AN UPPER-LEVEL LOW OFF THE COASTS OF
ORE AND NRN CA MOVES SLOWLY SWD OFF THE WEST COAST. A PLUME OF
MID-LEVEL MOISTURE EVIDENT ON WATER VAPOR IMAGERY WILL REMAIN IN
PLACE STREAMING EWD INTO CA AND THE INTERMOUNTAIN WEST WEDNESDAY. A
FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE EAST OF THE UPPER-LEVEL LOW
MAINLY ACROSS THE SACRAMENTO VALLEY DUE TO STRONG LARGE-SCALE ASCENT
AND COLD AIR ALOFT AS SFC TEMPS WARM WEDNESDAY. SHEAR AND
INSTABILITY SHOULD NOT BE SUFFICIENT FOR ORGANIZED CONVECTION.
ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE CONUS...THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS NOT EXPECTED
WEDNESDAY OR WEDNESDAY NIGHT.
