AN EF-1 TORNADO WITH A PEAK WIND OF 100 MPH...PATH LENGTH
OF 0.28 MILES...AND A MAXIMUM PATH WIDTH OF 75 YARDS. THE
TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ALONG COUNTY LINE RD ABOUT ONE MILE
SOUTH OF WHITEOAK...MOVED NORTHEAST AND LIFTED BEFORE
REACHING AL HWY 157 NEAR BINGHAM. THE ROOF OF A CHURCH
WAS DAMAGED...SEVERAL LARGE TREES WERE SNAPPED OR
UPROOTED...AND NUMEROUS POWER LINES WERE DOWNED.

AN EF-0 TORNADO WITH A PEAK WIND OF 80 MPH...PATH LENGTH
OF 1.71 MILES...AND A MAXIMUM PATH WIDTH OF 50 YARDS.
TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN JUST TO THE EAST OF SANDLIN STREET
SOUTHWEST OF TANNER CROSSROADS...AND TRACKED ACROSS
STEWART ROAD AND ROSIE ROAD BEFORE LIFTING NEAR NUCLEAR
PLANT RD AND US 31. SEVERAL SMALL TO MEDIUM TREES WERE
SNAPPED OR UPROOTED. THREE HOUSES...A SHED...AND A BARN
SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE.

0526 PM TORNADO 1 NNW LACEYS SPRING 34.55N 86.61W
04/02/2009 F1 MORGAN AL NWS STORM SURVEY

AN EF-1 TORNADO WITH A PEAK WIND OF 105 MPH...PATH LENGTH
OF 1.5 MILES...AND A MAXIMUM PATH WIDTH OF 200 YARDS. THE
TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN IN A FIELD SOUTH OF LOWER DRY CREEK
RD...TRACKING ACROSS KAY RD...AND SHERBROOK DR BEFORE
LIFTING IN THE SAME NEIGHBORHOOD. SEVERAL LARGE TREES
WERE UPROOTED OR SNAPPED. MULTIPLE RESIDENCES SUSTAINED
MINOR DAMAGE AND A SHED WAS DESTROYED. GREATER STRUCTURAL
DAMAGE RESULTED FROM LARGE TREES FALLING ON
STRUCTURES...AND NOT THE TORNADO ITSELF.

04/02/2009 F0 MADISON AL NWS STORM SURVEY

AN EF-0 TORNADO WITH A PEAK WIND OF 85 MPH...PATH LENGTH
OF 1 MILE...AND A MAXIMUM PATH WIDTH OF 50 YARDS. THE
TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN JUST SOUTHWEST OF BUTLER HIGH SCHOOL
AND TRACKED ACROSS HOLMES AVENUE TO THE FAIRWAY DRIVE
AREA...LIFTING BEFORE IT EXITED THE NEIGHBORHOOD. SEVERAL
LARGE TREES WERE SNAPPED OR UPROOTED. ONE HOME WAS
DAMAGED WHEN A LARGE TREE FELL ON IT. A MOBILE HOME
SUSTAINED MINOR ROOF DAMAGE.
