THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 533
CONTINUES.

AT 18Z...A BAND OF STRONG/SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS SHIFTING EWD AT
20-25 KT ACROSS PORTIONS OF ERN NY/ERN PA AND NRN NJ. THESE STORMS
WILL CONTINUE SHIFTING EWD ACROSS THE CENTRAL/ERN PORTIONS OF WW 533
AS STRONGER FORCING ALOFT SPREADS INTO THE WARMING AIR MASS
IMMEDIATELY EAST OF THE ONGOING STORMS. THE COLD TEMPERATURES ALOFT
ARE VERY FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE HAIL...MAINLY BETWEEN 3/4 AND 1 1/2
INCHES IN SIZE. A FEW OF THE STORMS HAVE ORGANIZED INTO SHORT
LINES/BANDS AND MAY AID IN TRANSPORTING STRONGER SWLY WINDS ALOFT TO
THE SURFACE IN THE FORM OF OCCASIONAL DAMAGING DOWNBURSTS.
