A LARGE MID-LEVEL LOW -- INITIALLY CENTERED OVER THE KS/OK AREA --
IS PROGGED TO MOVE SLOWLY EWD THROUGH THE PERIOD...WITH THE CENTER
OF THE LOW REACHING THE OZARKS BY 17/12Z. AS THIS OCCURS...A COLD
FRONT SHOULD MOVE SEWD OFF THE TX COAST AND EWD INTO THE LOWER MS
VALLEY REGION...WHILE AN OCCLUDING LOW SHIFTS NEWD OUT OF AR AND
INTO THE LOWER OH/MID MS VALLEY REGION LATE.

SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD BE ONGOING INVOF THE TX
GULF COAST AT THE START OF THE PERIOD...AND SHOULD SPREAD EWD ACROSS
SRN LA AND THE WRN GULF THROUGH THE AFTERNOON BEFORE DIMINISHING.

ELSEWHERE...A FEW LIGHTNING STRIKES WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE MID
MS VALLEY REGION FROM ELEVATED CONVECTION NEAR AND JUST AHEAD OF THE
MID-LEVEL LOW...AND CONVECTION SHOULD ALSO APPROACH THE WA COASTLINE
LATE AS A STRONG MID-LEVEL SHORT-WAVE TROUGH REACHES THE COAST.
