A LARGE CLOSED LOW ALOFT IS FORECAST TO REMAIN CENTERED INVOF AR/MO
AND THE MID MS/LOWER OH VALLEYS THIS PERIOD...AS A LARGE UPSTREAM
TROUGH MOVES INLAND OVER THE WRN CONUS.

AT THE SURFACE...A COLD FRONT ASSOCIATED WITH THE APPROACHING WRN
U.S. TROUGH IS EXPECTED TO PROGRESS ACROSS THE NORTHWEST THROUGH THE
PERIOD. MEANWHILE...AN OCCLUDED SURFACE LOW IS PROGGED TO WEAKEN
ACROSS MO AND VICINITY...AS THE COLD FRONT CROSSING THE SOUTHEAST
QUARTER OF THE U.S. LIKEWISE WEAKENS.

SHOWERS AND AN OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING STRIKE WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE
LOWER AND MID OH VALLEY REGION NEAR AND E OF THE UPPER CYCLONE...AND
ALSO OVER THE COASTAL PAC NW AS THE UPPER TROUGH APPROACHES/MOVES
