DAY 1 CONVECTIVE OUTLOOK
NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
0642 PM CST SAT NOV 28 2009

VALID 290100Z - 291200Z

...NO SVR TSTM AREAS FORECAST...

...SYNOPSIS...
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS ONGOING ACROSS PARTS OF THE
SOUTHERN PLATEAU AND SOUTHERN ROCKIES...AS A COLD CORE LOW DIGS
ACROSS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. SOME INCREASE IN STORMS STILL APPEARS
POSSIBLE EARLY THIS EVENING NORTH/EAST OF THE PHOENIX AREA INTO
EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE MOGOLLON RIM. BUT...A DECREASE IN COVERAGE
IS GENERALLY EXPECTED ELSEWHERE WITH STABILIZATION ASSOCIATED WITH
RADIATIONAL SURFACE COOLING. AS THE MID-LEVEL CIRCULATION CONTINUES
SOUTH SOUTHEASTWARD TOWARD THE NORTHERN GULF OF CALIFORNIA
VICINITY...THUNDERSTORM PROBABILITIES MAY BECOME INCREASINGLY
NEGLIGIBLE OVER MOST AREAS AFTER 06Z.
