EWD ACROSS THE GULF COAST STATES. AT THE SFC...A COLD FRONT WILL
ADVANCE SEWD ACROSS THE FL PANHANDLE THIS MORNING REACHING THE CNTRL
FL PENINSULA THIS AFTERNOON. THE MODELS ARE IN AGREEMENT INITIATING
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS AROUND MIDDAY FROM THE ORLANDO AREA SWD TO
THE EVERGLADES. THIS ACTIVITY MAY CONSOLIDATE INTO A LINE AS THE
COLD FRONT MOVES SWD ACROSS THE PENINSULA THIS AFTERNOON. SFC
DEWPOINTS ACROSS THE SERN THIRD OF THE PENINSULA SHOULD REMAIN IN
THE MID TO UPPER 60S F ALLOWING MUCAPE VALUES TO APPROACH 1000 J/KG
BY EARLY AFTERNOON. THIS COMBINED WITH 25 TO 30 KT OF FLOW AT 850
MB...STRONG DEEP LAYER SHEAR AND STEEP LOW-LEVEL LAPSE RATES EVIDENT
ON FORECAST SOUNDINGS SHOULD BE SUFFICIENT FOR A MARGINAL THREAT FOR
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS. THE THREAT SHOULD END BY EARLY EVENING AS THE
STORMS MOVE OFFSHORE.
