WCNTRL-NCNTRL OK THROUGH AT LEAST 02Z. MOST PERSISTENT AND HEAVIEST
RAINFALL WILL EXIST IN A 50 MILE CORRIDOR CENTERED FROM 40 WNW
KCSM-35 SW KEND-KPNC...INCLUDING ROGER MILLS...
CUSTER...DEWEY...BLAINE...MAJOR...GARFIELD...GRANT...KAY AND
KINGFISHER COUNTIES.

MID-LEVEL WAVE EVIDENT IN WATER VAPOR IMAGERY WAS BEGINNING TO TURN
ENE INTO KS AT 23Z. FEATURE LIKELY AIDED THUNDERSTORM GENERATION
ALONG A WEAK SURFACE BOUNDARY OVER NW OK EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON.
FORWARD-FLANK STORMS HAVE SHOWN MORE PROGRESSIVE NATURE ALONG THE
KS/OK BORDER WITH OCCASIONAL STRONG WIND SIGNATURES. HOWEVER...OF
PERHAPS MORE IMPORTANCE WAS THE BACKBUILDING/SLOWER EWD PROGRESSION
OF STORMS ALONG THE TRAILING PORTION OF THE LINE IN WCNTRL/NW OK.

AS THE WAVE CONTINUES TO MOVE AWAY FROM THE REGION...WEAK OUTFLOW
WILL CONTINUE TO GENERATE STORMS ALONG SRN FLANK OF RESIDUAL MCS
THIS EVENING. PARCELS FEEDING THE STORMS EXHIBITED HIGH MOISTURE
CONTENT AND GIVEN FREEZING LEVELS ABOVE 16KFT...WARM RAIN PROCESSES
WILL BOOST RAINFALL RATES. MOREOVER...RELATIVELY WEAK CLOUD-BEARING
SHEAR AND SLOW EWD PROPAGATION VECTORS WILL CONTRIBUTE TO A FEW
HOURS OF HEAVY AND PERSISTENT RAINFALL IN THE ABOVE CORRIDOR THROUGH
MID-EVENING.
