08/13/2010 F1 DODGE MN NWS STORM SURVEY
AN EF-1 TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN 1 MILE WEST OF HAYFIELD
ALONG HIGHWAY 30. THIS TORNADO THEN TRACKED FOR 5 MILES
TO THE NORTH JUST TO THE WEST OF HIGHWAY 56 AND ENDED
SOUTH OF COUNTY ROAD 6. THE MAXIMUM WIDTH WAS 140 YARDS
AND MAXIMUM WIND WAS 100 MPH. THE MAIN DAMAGE WAS TO
TREES AND CROPS. ONE METAL SHED LOST PART OF ITS ALUMINUM
ROOFING. AN OLDER BARN WAS LIFTED OFF ITS FOUNDATION AND
DESTROYED.
