SHORTWAVE TROUGH...CURRENTLY LOCATED NEAR 41N/132W. COOLING
LOWER-MID TROPOSPHERIC PROFILES /E.G. -26 TO -28 C AT 500 MB/...
ALONG AND NORTH OF STRONG WSWLY MID-UPPER LEVEL FLOW...WILL ALLOW
LAPSE RATES TO STEEPEN ALONG THE WA/ORE COAST INTO THE AFTERNOON.
FORECAST SOUNDINGS SUGGEST ADEQUATE MUCAPE /100-200 J PER KG/ IN THE
LOWEST 5-6KM FOR CONVECTIVE UPDRAFTS TO BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING AT
LEAST ISOLATED LIGHTNING.
