VALID 231200Z - 241200Z

...NO TSTM AREAS FORECAST...

AN UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH EXTENDING FROM THE CNTRL PLAINS SWWD INTO THE
SRN ROCKIES WILL MOVE INTO THE SRN PLAINS SUNDAY. AHEAD OF THE
SYSTEM...A LOW-LEVEL JET WILL TRANSPORT SOME MOISTURE NWD ONTO THE
TX COASTAL PLAINS BY SUNDAY AFTERNOON WHERE SFC DEWPOINTS SHOULD
REACH THE 50S F. AT THE SFC...A COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO ADVANCE
QUICKLY SEWD ACROSS CNTRL TX REACHING THE TX COASTAL PLAINS BY LATE
SUNDAY AFTERNOON. A POTENTIAL FOR ISOLATED CONVECTION ALONG THE
BOUNDARY MAY EXIST IF ENOUGH INSTABILITY CAN BE REALIZED.
HOWEVER...NAM FORECAST SOUNDINGS SHOW VERY WEAK INSTABILITY WITH
CAPE CONCENTRATED IN A NARROW LAYER BETWEEN 850 AND 700 MB
SUGGESTING THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL PROBABLY NOT OCCUR. FOR THAT
REASON WILL NOT ADD A THUNDER LINE ON THE TX COASTAL PLAINS FOR DAY
2. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE CONUS...THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED
SUNDAY OR SUNDAY NIGHT.
