DAY 3 CONVECTIVE OUTLOOK
NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
0148 AM CST MON JAN 03 2011

VALID 051200Z - 061200Z

...GULF COAST...

WEAK WARM ADVECTION WILL LIKELY ENHANCE THE CONVECTIVE POTENTIAL
ALONG THE IMMEDIATE GULF COAST BEGINNING DURING THE DAY2
PERIOD...EXTENDING INTO WEDNESDAY. AIRMASS RECOVERY ALONG THE TX/LA
COAST IS SOMEWHAT QUESTIONABLE WITH ENOUGH UNCERTAINTY REGARDING
DESTABILIZATION SUCH THAT SEVERE PROBABILITIES WILL NOT BE
INTRODUCED. HOWEVER...ELEVATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE CERTAINLY POSSIBLE
IN ASSOCIATION WITH A WEAK WAVE THAT WILL EVOLVE ALONG THE TX COAST
BEFORE SHEARING EWD AND BEING SUPPRESSED INTO THE NCNTRL GULF OF
MEXICO LATE IN THE PERIOD.
