THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 538
CONTINUES.

A DAMAGING WIND THREAT CONTINUES ACROSS THE WATCH AREA. AN INITIAL
WAVE OF STORMS HAS NEARLY CLEARED THE WATCH AREA...WITH A SECONDARY
AREA OF CONVECTION ALONG THE COLD FRONT. SUFFICIENT INSTABILITY
REMAINS ALONG WITH STRONG DEEP LAYER FLOW FOR SEVERE WINDS. THE
WATCH CAN CONTINUE TO BE CLEARED BEHIND THE SECOND LINE OF STORMS
WITH ONLY NON-SEVERE SHOWERS LIKELY AFTER PASSAGE.
