DAY 4-8 CONVECTIVE OUTLOOK
NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
0316 AM CDT MON SEP 26 2011

VALID 291200Z - 041200Z

...DISCUSSION...

NWLY FLOW SHOULD GRADUALLY DEEPEN BETWEEN THE ROCKIES AND THE
APPALACHIANS INTO THE MEDIUM RANGE PERIOD AS OH VALLEY UPPER LOW
FINALLY EJECTS INTO NEW ENGLAND. WITH OFFSHORE FLOW EXPECTED TO
STRENGTHEN IT REMAINS SOMEWHAT DOUBTFUL THAT SUFFICIENT INSTABILITY
CAN BECOME INTEGRATED INTO REGIONS OF THE MIDDLE ATLANTIC/NERN U.S.
WHERE SHEAR WOULD OTHERWISE SUPPORT ORGANIZED UPDRAFTS.
OTHERWISE...WEAK-MODEST INSTABILITY ACROSS THE SRN PLAINS/GULF COAST
REGION WILL NOT BE JUXTAPOSED WITH ANY MEANINGFUL SHEAR...THUS
ISOLATED SEVERE TSTMS AT BEST CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THIS REGION.
