FOR TORNADOES AND DAMAGING WINDS MAINLY ACROSS SOUTHERN/EAST-CENTRAL
SC AND THE PIEDMONT OF NC.

A PRE-COLD FRONTAL CORRIDOR OF CONFLUENCE/ASSOCIATED BROKEN BANDS OF
STORMS CONTINUE TO STEADILY MOVE GENERALLY EAST-NORTHEASTWARD ACROSS
EASTERN GA AND THE PIEDMONT PORTIONS OF THE CAROLINAS AS OF 2330Z.
THE MOST INTENSE STORMS IN THE FORM OF A QLCS WITH SEVERAL EMBEDDED
BOWS/MESOVORTICES ARE NOW ONGOING ACROSS SOUTHERN/EAST-CENTRAL
SC...WHICH COINCIDES WITH A WEAK SUB-SYNOPTIC SURFACE LOW AND A
RELATIVELY MOIST /MIDDLE 60S F SURFACE DEWPOINTS/ AND MODESTLY
UNSTABLE BOUNDARY LAYER. WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR WINDS WITHIN THE
LOWEST 1-2 KM TO FURTHER STRENGTHEN TONIGHT...THE SCENARIO WILL
REMAIN FAVORABLE FOR EMBEDDED SUPERCELLS/BOWS CAPABLE OF WIND
DAMAGE/SOME TORNADOES THROUGH THE EVENING. EAST OF TORNADO WATCH
