A ROOF ON A BUILDING IN DOWNTOWN HAD A 30 BY 30 FOOT
SECTION LIFTED AND BLOWN INTO THE BUILDING NEXT DOOR. THE
HIGHEST MEASURED WIND GUSTS WERE AT THE GLENDIVE AIRPORT
FROM THE SOUTH-SOUTHWEST AT 28 MPH GUSTING TO 38 MPH.

06/26/2012 RICHLAND MT FIRE DEPT/RESCUE
SAVAGE FIRE DEPARTMENT SURVEYED A METAL BUILDING THAT WAS
SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGED BY A MICROBURST. HALF THE ROOF WAS
BLOWN OFF INTO NEARBY COTTONWOOD TREES. THE BUILDING WAS
FACING SOUTH AND WINDS HIT FROM THE SOUTH. THERE WAS A
LARGE OPENING AND THE WINDS ENTERED THE BUILDING AND BLEW
OUT THE ROOF. WIND SPEEDS ARE ESTIMATED TO HAVE BEEN
AROUND 80 MPH.

06/26/2012 M74.00 MPH RICHLAND MT NWS STORM SURVEY
MEASURED BY RICHLAND COUNTY AGRIMET STATION. IN THIS
VICINITY, 21 WOODEN POWER POLES WERE SNAPPED OFF WITH TWO
MORE LEANING AND NEEDING TO BE REPLACED. A 4000 BUSHEL
GRAIN BIN WAS TIPPED OVER AND A TIN SHED HAD THE ROOF
BLOWN OFF AND THROWN 150 YARDS TO THE NORTH.

STRONG COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE.

06/26/2012 VALLEY MT PUBLIC
A COLD FRONT MOVING THROUGH THE REGION PRODUCED HIGH
WINDS. A CAMPER WAS ROLLED AND SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGED IN
THE PARK GROVE AREA.
