A TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN IN COOSA COUNTY JUST SOUTHWEST OF
THE PENTONVILLE...UPROOTING SEVERAL PINES AND OAK TREES
SPORADICALLY ALONG THE PATH. ONE LARGE OAK FELL INTO A
SMALL BARN AND A COUPLE OF OUTBUILDINGS. THE TORNADO PATH
WAS 0.5 MILES LONG AND 150 YARDS WIDE AT ITS WIDEST
POINT. WIND SPEEDS WERE ESTIMTATED AT 75-85 MPH.

RADAR RAINFALL ESTIMATES OF ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN

CAUSING PONDING OF WATER ON AREA ROADS.
