BROAD CYCLONIC FLOW WILL REMAIN OVER THE EASTERN UNITED STATES
TODAY...WITH A HIGH-AMPLITUDE UPPER RIDGE OVER THE WESTERN STATES.
A SURFACE COLD FRONT IS SAGGING SOUTHWARD ACROSS THE CENTRAL GULF
COAST STATES. WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE
OCCURRING ALONG/BEHIND THE FRONT FROM PARTS OF LA INTO AL/GA. THIS
ACTIVITY WILL PERSIST THROUGH MUCH OF THE DAY AS THE FRONT PUSHES
OFF THE COAST OF MS/AL/FL PENINSULA. WHILE AN ISOLATED/BRIEF STRONG
STORM IS POSSIBLE...ORGANIZED SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT ANTICIPATED
TODAY.
