VALID 021200Z - 031200Z

...NO SVR TSTM AREAS FORECAST...

...SYNOPSIS/DISCUSSION...
A FAST MOVING LOW AMPLITUDE SHORTWAVE TROUGH WILL MOVE FROM THE
GREAT LAKES/OH VALLEY INTO THE NERN STATES BY EVENING WITH SWLY LOW
LEVEL FLOW BRINGING MID TO UPPER 50S F DEWPOINTS NEWD ACROSS THE OH
VALLEY. LIFT WITHIN THE WARM CONVEYOR WILL LIKELY RESULT IN A SHIELD
OF PRECIPITATION WITH EMBEDDED WEAK THUNDERSTORMS. GIVEN VERY WEAK
ELEVATED INSTABILITY...SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.

ELSEWHERE...A POWERFUL TROUGH WILL AFFECT THE PACIFIC COAST
EARLY...AND THE GREAT BASIN BY LATE AFTERNOON WITH STRONG WINDS AND
PRECIPITATION...BUT THUNDERSTORMS ARE UNLIKELY OVERALL. A SMALL
WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY MAY EXIST FOR WEAK INSTABILITY TO DEVELOP
ACROSS NERN NV...NRN UT...AND SERN ID AS A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH
LATE EVENING.
