QUIET WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE COUNTRY TODAY.
LARGE-SCALE TROUGH EAST OF THE ROCKIES WILL SLOWLY PIVOT EASTWARD
TOWARD THE WESTERN ATLANTIC BY THIS EVENING. BUILDING SFC HIGH
PRESSURE IN THE WAKE OF THE THIS FEATURE WILL RESULT IN DRY AND
COOL/STABLE CONDITIONS. FURTHER WEST...A WEAKENING SHORTWAVE TROUGH
MIGRATING ACROSS THE GREAT BASIN WAS EVIDENT IN WATER VAPOR IMAGERY
THIS MORNING. LIMITED MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY WILL PRECLUDE MUCH IN
THE WAY OF THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WITH THIS FEATURE...ASIDE FROM
PERHAPS A STRIKE OR TWO ACROSS PARTS OF CENTRAL UT.
