THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 163
CONTINUES.

SUMMARY...STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO POSE A THREAT FOR ISOLATED LARGE
HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS NEXT COUPLE HOURS.

DISCUSSION...STORMS HAVE EVOLVED INTO A BROKEN LINE FROM SWRN NEB
INTO NWRN KS AND NERN CO. SOME BACKBUILDING HAS BEEN OBSERVED OVER
EXTREME NERN CO WHERE THE SWRN FLANK OF THE OUTFLOW BOUNDARY
INTERSECTS THE DRYLINE. STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO FORWARD PROPAGATE
INTO THE UNSTABLE BOUNDARY LAYER THIS AFTERNOON. INVERTED-V PROFILES
WILL PROMOTE A RISK FOR DAMAGING WIND...AND STEEP LAPSE RATES WITH
1000 J/KG MLCAPE WILL SUPPORT UPDRAFTS SUFFICIENT FOR ISOLATED LARGE
HAIL.
