...DISCUSSION...
THE MEDIUM RANGE MODELS MOVE AN UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH FROM THE GREAT
PLAINS EWD INTO THE MS VALLEY ON MONDAY/DAY 4. LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE IS
FORECAST TO BE LOCATED FROM THE TX COASTAL PLAINS EWD ACROSS SRN LA
WHERE THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THE DAY
MONDAY INTO THE OVERNIGHT PERIOD. THE MODELS MOVE THE UPPER-LEVEL
TROUGH EWD ACROSS THE OH AND TN VALLEYS ON TUESDAY/DAY 5 AS A COLD
FRONT MOVES QUICKLY SWD INTO THE NRN GULF OF MEXICO. THE UPPER-LEVEL
TROUGH IS FORECAST TO MOVE ACROSS THE APPALACHIAN MTNS ON
WEDNESDAY/DAY 6 AS THE COLD FRONT ADVANCES SWD ACROSS THE GULF OF
MEXICO.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOST LIKELY TO OCCUR MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT
ACROSS THE GULF COAST STATES BUT INSTABILITY IS NOT EXPECTED TO BE
STRONG ENOUGH FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT.
