AN UPPER LOW OVER SW TX IS EXPECTED TO MOVE VERY LITTLE
TODAY...WHILE AN UPSTREAM TROUGH WILL MOVE INTO THE PACIFIC
NORTHWEST AND WEAKEN THE PERSISTENT UPPER RIDGE OVER THE GREAT
BASIN. NWLY FLOW ALOFT WILL PERSIST OVER MUCH OF THE CNTRL/ERN
CONUS. AT THE SURFACE...HIGH PRESSURE WILL DOMINATE IN MOST
AREAS...WITH DRY AND STABLE CONDITIONS LIMITING THE THUNDERSTORM
THREAT OUTSIDE OF THE FL PENINSULA.

...FL PENINSULA...
SEASONABLY RICH MOISTURE WILL SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF CONVECTIVE
SHOWERS DURING THE DAY ON FRIDAY OVER MAINLY THE SRN AND ERN FL
PENINSULA. SUFFICIENT INSTABILITY WILL EXIST FOR DEEP CONVECTION
CAPABLE OF GENERATING A FEW LTG STRIKES...THOUGH WITH LITTLE UPPER
SUPPORT FOR ASCENT ACROSS THE AREA...THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE WILL BE
ISOLATED AT BEST.
