A SYNOPTIC SCALE UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH EXTENDING FROM THE GREAT LAKES
REGION SSWWD INTO THE OZARKS WILL MOVE EWD ACROSS THE OH VALLEY AND
MID MS VALLEY TONIGHT. AT THE SFC...COLD HIGH PRESSURE WILL DOMINATE
ACROSS THE SRN PLAINS...LOWER TO MID MS VALLEY AND TN VALLEY. THIS
WILL MAINTAIN NLY FLOW AT LOW-LEVELS ACROSS THE GULF COAST STATES
KEEPING THE AIRMASS DRY ACROSS MOST OF THE CONUS. THE EXCEPTION
SHOULD BE ACROSS CNTRL AND SRN FL WHERE LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE SHOULD BE
ENOUGH FOR A FEW SHOWERS. HOWEVER...NO LIGHTNING ACTIVITY IS
EXPECTED THROUGH 12Z WEDNESDAY.
