AN UPPER-LEVEL LOW BETWEEN LAREDO AND DEL RIO TX WILL MOVE EWD THIS
EVENING...SPREADING LARGE-SCALE ASCENT ACROSS THE TX COASTAL PLAINS.
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG THE LEADING EDGE OF
ASCENT ALONG THE LOWER TO MIDDLE TX COAST THIS EVENING. AS THE
UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH APPROACHES THE TX COAST AFTER MIDNIGHT...WARM
ADVECTION WILL TAKE PLACE ABOVE THE WRN AND NRN GULF OF MEXICO. THIS
WILL INCREASE LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE ACROSS SRN LA LATE TONIGHT WHERE
THUNDERSTORMS COULD DEVELOP LATE IN THE PERIOD. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE
CONUS...A FEW LIGHTNING STRIKES WILL BE POSSIBLE EARLY THIS EVENING
FROM NE ORE SEWD INTO SW ID ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH
MOVING ACROSS THE INTERMOUNTAIN WEST. NONE OF THE CONVECTION ACROSS
THE CONUS IS EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE TONIGHT.
