NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
0111 AM CST MON NOV 02 2009

VALID 041200Z - 051200Z

...SYNOPSIS...
MODELS INDICATE THAT THE STRONGER BELT OF WESTERLIES WILL REMAIN
AMPLIFIED OVER THE U.S. THROUGH THIS FORECAST PERIOD. THE PRIMARY
SUBSTANTIVE CHANGE FROM TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY APPEARS TO BE A
SLIGHT EASTWARD SHIFT OF THE WESTERN RIDGE/EASTERN TROUGH AXES
TOWARD THE ROCKIES AND ATLANTIC SEABOARD...RESPECTIVELY. AS A
RESULT...GENERALLY STABLE CONDITIONS WILL LIKELY BE MAINTAINED
NATIONWIDE...WITH LOW TO NEGLIGIBLE CONVECTIVE POTENTIAL. NO SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS ARE ANTICIPATED.
