UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH ORGANIZES IN THE WEST. THREE AREAS WILL EXIST FOR
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT DURING THE DAY 1 PERIOD. THE FIRST
IS NEAR MIAMI FL WHERE LOW-LEVEL CONVERGENCE JUST OFFSHORE AND
RESIDUAL MOISTURE MAY BE ENOUGH TO INITIATE CONVECTION. FURTHER WEST
ACROSS SE TX AND LA...A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT
DUE TO WARM ADVECTION AND LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE RETURN. ISOLATED STORMS
WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT BENEATH AN UPPER-LEVEL LOW IN NRN CA
AND SW ORE WHERE LARGE-SCALE ASCENT IS FORECAST TO BE STRONG AND
COLD AIR ALOFT WILL EXIST. ELSEWHERE...THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT
EXPECTED ACROSS THE CONUS TODAY OR TONIGHT.
