LONGWAVE UPPER TROUGH AND ASSOCIATED CYCLONIC FLOW REGIME WILL
ENCOMPASS THE EASTERN HALF OF THE CONUS THROUGH THE PERIOD. BROAD
UPPER RIDGE WILL DOMINATE MOST OF THE WESTERN STATES...ASIDE FROM A
NEARLY CUT-OFF UPPER LOW CENTERED JUST OFF THE SOUTHERN CA COAST
EARLY THIS MORNING.

WHILE A NEARLY NIL THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL WILL EXIST INLAND...SOME
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OFF THE NEW ENGLAND COAST THIS
AFTERNOON/TONIGHT IN ASSOCIATION WITH NOEL AS IT BECOMES
INCREASINGLY EXTRATROPICAL AND ACCELERATES NORTH/NORTHEASTWARD.
OTHERWISE...THE INFLUENCE OF HIGH PRESSURE AND/OR COOL STABLE
CONDITIONS WILL PRECLUDE THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE CONUS.
