A TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ABOUT 1/2 MILE WEST OF COUNTY ROAD
7, NORTH OF THE COUNTY ROAD 7/24 SPLIT. THE TORNADO
TRAVELED EAST-NORTHEAST CROSSING OVER COUNTY ROAD 5 AND
LIFTING ABOUT 2 1/2 MILES SOUTH OF COUNTY ROAD 16. ALONG
THE PATH, APPROXIMATELY 100 HARDWOODS WERE SNAPPED, AND
NEAR THE END OF THE PATH, SEVERAL HARDWOODS WERE UPROOTED
AND A HOME SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO SHINGLES AND FACEA.
THE TORNADO PATH WAS 1.25 MILES AND 100 YARDS WIDE AT ITS
WIDEST POINT.

BASED ON PHOTOS AND EYEWITNESS ACCOUNTS, ANOTHER TORNADO
HAS BEEN DOCUMENTED IN ALABASTER. THE TORNADO WAS RATED
AN EF-0 WITH THE HIGHEST WINDS BETWEEN 60 AND 65 MPH. A
FEW TREES WERE DAMAGED ALONG THE PATH AND SOME MINOR
SHINGLE DAMAGE OCCURRED. SEVERAL PEOPLE WITNESSED AND
PHOTOGRAPHED THE WEAK TORNADO INCLUDING NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE PERSONNEL. THE TORNADO TRACK WAS 3.3 MILES LONG
AND 100 YARDS WIDE.

BARN AND MINOR SHINGLE DAMAGE TO A HOME. AT ITS WIDEST
POINT, THE TORNADO WAS 150 YARDS WIDE.

HIGHWAY. ALONG THE PATH, DAMAGE INCLUDED THREE HORSE
TRAILERS BEING TOSSED OVER 50 FEET, ONE OF WHICH WEIGHED
OVER 10000 LBS. AT THE WIDEST POINT, THE TORNADO WAS 50
YARDS WIDE.
