VALID 051200Z - 061200Z

..NO SVR TSTM AREAS FORECAST...

A BROAD BAND OF NWLY FLOW FROM THE NRN ROCKIES SEWD INTO THE
APPALACHIAN MTNS SUNDAY NIGHT WILL GRADUALLY GIVE WAY TO AN
AMPLIFYING UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH DIGGING SEWD INTO THE GREAT LAKES
REGION MONDAY. COLD AIR ALOFT AND STRONG LARGE-SCALE ASCENT
ASSOCIATED WITH THE TROUGH WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WARM LAKE WATERS OF LAKE MICHIGAN AND LAKE
HURON MONDAY AFTERNOON. THE AMPLIFYING TROUGH WILL ALSO HELP DRIVE A
COLD FRONT QUICKLY SEWD INTO THE MID-MS VALLEY AND SRN PLAINS
MONDAY. SFC HEATING AND CONVERGENCE ALONG THE FRONT SHOULD SUPPORT A
LINE OF CONVECTION FROM THE CNTRL APPALACHIAN MTNS SWWD INTO THE
OZARKS DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON. HOWEVER...LIGHTNING ACTIVITY
SHOULD REMAIN MINIMAL DUE TO THE WEAK INSTABILITY IN PLACE.

.BROYLES.. 11/03/2007
