TODAY...WHILE NEXT LARGE TROUGH DIGS SOUTHWARD ALONG THE PACIFIC
COAST. THAT LEAVES MOST OF THE NATION BETWEEN SYSTEMS AND IN A
GENERALLY TRANQUIL WEATHER PATTERN. ONE AREA OF SLIGHTLY MORE
CONCENTRATED CONVECTIVE THREAT WILL BE OVER THE EASTERN CAROLINAS
LATER THIS AFTERNOON. THE STRONGEST CELLS IN THIS AREA COULD
PRODUCE HAIL AND/OR GUSTY WINDS BEFORE MOVING OFFSHORE THIS EVENING.
OTHERWISE...WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS POSSIBLE TODAY
OVER PARTS OF FL...TX...WRN KS...WI/UPPER MI...AND THE GREAT BASIN.
