GUST OF 55 MPH FROM THE SOUTHEAST. THE WIND GUST WAS
ASSOCIATED WITH THE PASSAGE OF A SPIRAL RAINBAND.

08/18/2008 UPPER KEYS IN MONR FL FIRE DEPT/RESCUE
A WIND GUST OF 60 MPH WAS REPORTED BY THE FIRE CHIEF IN
THE ISLAMORADA EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER. THE WIND GUST
WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PASSAGE OF A SPIRAL RAINBAND.

08/18/2008 LOWER KEYS IN MONR FL PUBLIC
A MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC REPORTED A WATERSPOUT ON THE GULF
SIDE OF THE SEVEN MILE BRIDGE. THE EXACT TIME OF THE
EVENT WAS NOT AVAILABLE. LISTED IS THE TIME OF THE ACTUAL
PHONE CALL TO THE NWS OFFICE. DURATION AND MOVEMENT WERE
ALSO NOT AVAILABLE.

08/18/2008 LOWER KEYS IN MONR FL LAW ENFORCEMENT
THE MONROE COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT REPORTED A POSSIBLE
TORNADO TOUCHDOWN NEAR 4TH STREET. THERE WAS A TREE DOWN
BLOCKING THIS ROAD. THE TIME OF THE EVENT WAS ESTIMATED
AT 1 PM EDT.
