ON THURSDAY. AN UPPER TROUGH WILL DEEPEN OVER THE NORTHEAST
STATES...WHILE A SHORTWAVE TROUGH SPREADS EAST-SOUTHEAST OVER THE
PACIFIC NORTHWEST/NORTHERN INTERMOUNTAIN WEST. OVERALL...TSTM
POTENTIAL WILL BE MINIMAL OVER THE CONUS ON THURSDAY. IN ASSOCIATION
WITH SHALLOW CONVECTIVE SNOW...IT APPEARS SUFFICIENT LAKE-INDUCED
CAPE/CHARGE SEPARATION WILL EXIST FOR SOME LIGHTNING IN THE
IMMEDIATE LEE OF THE GREAT LAKES. HOWEVER...10% TSTM PROBABILITIES
DO NOT APPEAR TO BE WARRANTED AT THIS TIME.
