05/06/2009 F2 LIMESTONE AL NWS STORM SURVEY
A TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN IN EXTREME EASTERN LIMESTONE
COUNTY AND TRACKED 10.9 MILES INTO WESTERN MADISON COUNTY
WITH PEAK WINDS ESTIMATED AT 115 MPH AND A PEAK PATH
WIDTH OF 75 YARDS. SIGNIFICANT TREE DAMAGE OCCURRED IN
SEVERAL SUBDIVISIONS IN MADISON...AND SOME HOUSES
RECEIVED SIGNIFICANT ROOF DAMAGE AND HAD THEIR WINDOWS
BLOWN OUT. SPORADIC DAMAGE OCCURRED ACROSS WESTERN
HUNTSVILLE BEFORE THE TORNADO LIFTED NEAR RESEARCH PARK
BLVD AND PLUMMER RD.
