THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
NORTHERN AND CENTRAL ARKANSAS
SOUTHERN AND EASTERN OKLAHOMA
EFFECTIVE THIS FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND SATURDAY MORNING FROM 555 PM
UNTIL 200 AM CDT.
TORNADOES...HAIL TO 2.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND
GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE
AREAS.
THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 60 STATUTE
MILES NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 35 MILES EAST OF BATESVILLE
ARKANSAS TO 50 MILES SOUTH OF CHICKASHA OKLAHOMA. FOR A COMPLETE
