LOW LEVEL WAA AND DEEP ASCENT WILL STEADILY INCREASE LATE TODAY AND
TONIGHT ACROSS ERN TX AHEAD OF STRONG MID/UPPER LEVEL LOW AND
ASSOCIATED ARCTIC COLD FRONT SPREADING RAPIDLY SEWD ACROSS THE
CENTRAL PLAINS. FORECAST SOUNDINGS SUGGEST SHALLOW MOIST CONVECTION
WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD THIS EVENING/OVERNIGHT FROM JUST OFF THE
SERN TX COAST ACROSS ERN TX AND INTO THE ARKLATEX/LOWER MS RIVER
VALLEY. HOWEVER...VERTICAL THERMODYNAMIC PROFILES ARE EXPECTED TO
REMAIN INSUFFICIENT FOR MORE THAN A SPORADIC LIGHTNING STRIKE OR TWO
WITHIN AN EXPANDING AREA OF ELEVATED PRECIPITATION.
