PANHANDLE AS EVIDENT IN VISIBLE SATELLITE IMAGERY LEADING TO STRONG
HEATING OVER THE REGION /LOW TO MID 80S OVER HIGHER TERRAIN/. WITH
MOIST UPSLOPE FLOW NORTH OF THE DEEPENING SFC LOW OVER CNTRL
CO...MLCAPE VALUES ARE APPROACHING 1000 J/KG PER MESOANALYSIS. A
MID-LEVEL WLY JET AXIS OVER WY IS RESULTING IN NEARLY 40 KTS OF 0-6
KM SHEAR ACCORDING TO THE SCNTRL WY PROFILER AT 18Z.
STORMS WILL LIKELY INITIATE OFF OF HIGHER TERRAIN LATER THIS
AFTERNOON. GIVEN THE INSTABILITY AND SHEAR...SUPERCELLS WITH
DAMAGING WIND AND LARGE HAIL WILL BE THE PRIMARY THREAT WITH THE
POSSIBILITY OF AN ISOLATED TORNADO. LATER THIS EVENING...THE LLJ IS
FORECAST TO STRENGTHEN LIKELY AIDING UPSCALE GROWTH OF THE STORMS
INTO AN MCS IN THE VICINITY OF THE NEB PANHANDLE.
