AN EF-2 TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN AT 336 PM NEAR HOLLAND PARK
DR THEN TRAVELED BETWEEN MOUNTAIN VEIW HIGH SCHOOL AND
TWIN RIVERS MIDDLE SCHOOL AND LIFTED AT 340 PM NEAR I-85
AND JUST EAST OF GRAVEL SPRINGS RD. 56 HOMES AND ONE
BUSINESS RECEIVED SOME DEGREE OF DAMAGE ALONG THE
TORNADOES PATH...MOSTLY IN KIRKSTONE SUBDIVISION IN
BUFORD. 15 TO 20 HOMES WERE DECLARED UNINHABITABLE...ONE
HOME COLLAPSED ON ITSELF. THE MAXIMUM WIND SPEED WAS 130
MPH. THE PATH LENGTH WAS 2.1 MILES AND THE WIDTH WAS 300
YARDS
