SLIGHTLY AND SHIFT NEWD INTO SRN ONTARIO OVERNIGHT. BLIZZARD
CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED AS STRONG NLY WINDS REDUCE VISIBILITIES
IN BLOWING SNOW.
23Z WV IMAGERY SHOWS A WEAK UPPER SHORT WAVE TROUGH OVER THE
SD/ND/MN BORDER SLOWLY LIFTING NEWD. THE ASSOCIATED SURFACE LOW OVER
S CNTRL MN IS EXPECTED TO SLOWLY DRIFT NEWD AS THIS OCCURS...WITH
OBSERVED WEAK SURFACE PRESSURE FALLS TO THE NE OF THE LOW SUPPORTING
THIS. THE MAIN BAND OF SNOW /NOW ORIENTED ROUGHLY OVER NERN MN SWWD
INTO SERN ND/NERN SD/ WILL GRADUALLY WEAKEN SLIGHTLY AND PROGRESS
NEWD INTO SRN ONTARIO.
A TIGHT SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT WITH STRONG PRESSURE RISES NEAR 1
MB/HR HAS LED TO STRONG NLY WINDS...WITH RECENT SURFACE OBSERVATIONS
SHOWING GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH...CREATING BLIZZARD CONDITIONS IN BLOWING
SNOW. THIS GRADIENT WILL RELAX SLIGHTLY OVERNIGHT...THOUGH
STRONG/GUSTY WINDS CAN STILL BE ANTICIPATED.
