CENTRAL LA COAST BY TUESDAY MORNING...AS ONE SHORTWAVE TROUGH
WEAKENS OVER TX AND THE LOWER MS VALLEY...AND A STRONGER UPSTREAM
WAVE DIGS SEWD FROM CO/NM TO CENTRAL TX. SOME ELEVATED CONVECTION
HAS OVERSPREAD THE UPPER TX COAST THIS MORNING IN A ZONE OF
PRONOUNCED LOW-LEVEL WAA...AND THIS CONVECTIVE REGIME SHOULD SPREAD
EWD/NEWD INTO LA LATER TODAY INTO TONIGHT. AT THIS TIME...IT
APPEARS THAT THE SURFACE WARM SECTOR WILL REMAIN OFFSHORE AND THAT
INSTABILITY BASED ABOVE THE STABLE BOUNDARY LAYER WILL REMAIN TOO
WEAK TO SUPPORT A SEVERE STORM THREAT INLAND ACROSS THE UPPER TX AND
LA COASTS.
